Pamela currently works with individuals diagnosed with mental health and/or substance abuse issues accompanied with a legal component; as the Director of Legal and Forensics with ABHS. Dr. Boivin is also the Director of Riverside Training & Education Center and trains professionals in the field of mental health and is currently a Professor of Forensic Psychology at KVCC University. Dr. Boivin has consulted and trained the Maine State Police Hostage Negotations and Tactical Team and has also served as a Professor at University of Maine with the Justice Studies Department and with the Behavioral/Human Services Department.

Dr. Boivin was an officer in the United States Army; STARC Medical. She has an extensive academic and professional legal background, with a concentration in domestic violence and has been certified as an expert witness in domestic violence by the Texas School of Law.

Academics include: Assoc. Criminal Justice, B.A. Interdisciplinary Studies, Juris Doctor in Law, Studies in Divinity/Seminary, and a professional PhD, ABD in Public Safety/Criminal Justice.

Her professional background consists of positions held in law enforcement as a Domestic Violence Police Officer, a Special Agent with the Maine Judicial Branch, Guardian ad Litem in Child Protective Cases, Domestic Violence Legal Specialist, Assistant District Attorney in the office of the Domestic Violence Prosecutor and work with the Maine Department of Corrections working with violent offenders.
